Enviroverstock Ltd believes responsible surplus management should deliver social value alongside environmental and commercial benefits.

Over the past two years, the business has worked closely with Surplus to Purpose, collaborating on initiatives that redirect surplus food to where it can deliver the greatest impact. Enviroverstock also regularly refers fresh produce clients to organisations focused on securing fairer prices for farmers’ surplus produce.

In cases where surplus stock is better suited to charitable redistribution due to factors such as location, volume, or packaging, Enviroverstock has referred tonnes of food to national redistribution charities, helping ensure good food reaches communities rather than going to waste.

More recently, Enviroverstock has supported Wakefield Community Fridge through donations and practical advice on sourcing surplus stock, helping strengthen local food access and reduce waste at a community level.

By working with trusted partners and local initiatives, Enviroverstock ensures surplus stock is directed to the most appropriate outcome — whether resale, redistribution, or community support.
